The FACE BOOK and chatter are alive with news that Daryl Justin Finizio failed to secure a spot on the New London Democratic Committee. This is significant because as the democratic mayor in this tumultuous hip little city on the Thames he should have been able to maintain a seat on the democratic committee in his own district.
Could this be the beginning of an uprising within the ranks of the New London Democratic Machine? There is no question from listening to the chatter in town that the conduct of the mayor at the Monday evening City Council meeting was a last straw of sorts in this coup.
It is long overdue for the people of the tumultuous hip little city on the Thames to stand up to the tyrannical child mayor who has been bullying his way through the first two years of his term. The pulse in the community seems to indicate that this is only the first of many actions to counter the actions of the mayor and his administration.
In The Day this morning the mayor calls for the condemning of the New London City Hall building. What if when he became mayor he put resources into correcting some of the mechanical problems in city hall rather than remodeling an office suite for the mayor and his administration. What if this past year he spent the money on city hall rather than the Lighthouse Inn? Could all the money for lawsuits, settlements and other legal fees have paid for a complete renovation of New London City hall? It seems that this tyrannical child mayor is completely inept and cannot make any good decisions when it comes to managing the day to day business of the city.
